Carta - Reichen et Robert Associates - The WRP Foundation presents the exhibition “Equilibres”: Philippe Roguet experiments with architectural photography in search of the atmosphere of the place, an architecture that is a metaphor for the human condition.

His choice of working with a view camera entails a process that is slower and produces fewer images. The images of the convent of La Tourette in Evreux (France), part of the series “Jour de neige” (“Snowy Day”), have a dreamlike quality in which spaces become calm, evident, with a sensual poetry.

In 2019, he undertook a personal photography project on the disappearance of the great trees of Africa due to climate change.

The series “Tree of Life” presents the first images made with a view camera throughout a journey of more than eight thousand kilometres in southern Africa.

The works of Géraldine Plazenet are compositions made of objects encountered in her mental and physical travels and which serve to construct vectors for ideas, inherent reflections that become mirrors of our human condition.

Discover several of her works at the Foundation’s space. Her “polymorphic” installations lead to an awareness of the ambivalence inherent in all things, both in their harshness and their fragility.
